Warranty Policy
At Furniture Kingdom (Furniture Kingdom Limited, company no. 02828559), we want you to be confident in what you buy. This Warranty Policy explains the cover we provide, how to make a claim, and how it sits alongside your legal rights.
1. What the warranty covers
All products sold on furniturekingdom.uk come with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects, starting from the date you receive your order.
This means that, during the warranty period, we will repair, replace or refund any item that develops a fault caused by a defect in materials or workmanship under normal domestic use.
2. What the warranty does not cover
The warranty does not apply to:
- Normal wear and tear (including natural variation, softening or fading over time).
- Damage caused by misuse, accident, neglect, or failure to follow assembly or care instructions.
- Damage from exposure to conditions a product isn’t designed for (for example, using an indoor-only item outdoors).
- Alterations, repairs or modifications carried out by anyone other than us or someone we’ve authorised.
- Commercial or non-domestic use, unless the product is sold specifically for that.
- Minor, natural differences in colour, grain or markings in materials such as wood, marble, travertine, rattan or fabric, which are characteristics of the material rather than faults.
3. How to make a warranty claim
- Contact us at contact@furniturekingdom.uk (or call +44 121 356 8835) within the 12-month period. Please include:
- your order number,
- the product name,
- a description of the fault, and
- clear photos or a short video showing the issue.
- We’ll assess the claim. We may ask a few follow-up questions to understand the fault. We aim to respond within 1 business day.
- We’ll put it right. Depending on the fault, we will arrange one of the following at no cost to you: a repair, replacement parts, a replacement item, or a refund. For many faults we will not need the item returned; where a return is needed, we’ll provide a pre-paid, trackable label.
4. Faulty on arrival
If an item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos, so we can resolve it quickly. Reporting promptly helps us deal with the courier where relevant, but it does not affect your statutory rights below.
5. Your legal rights (this warranty is in addition)
This warranty is offered in addition to, and does not affect, your rights under UK consumer law. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund independently of this warranty — including, in many cases, the short-term right to reject faulty goods within 30 days of delivery.
